Are you interested in working with children and young people then this could be a good choice for you. It allows you to explore a range of topics that build your understanding of child development, play and learning for children and keeping children safe. The course allows you to develop your knowledge and understanding as well as preparing you for further study or employment as you develop research and application skills as well as a range of personal skills that prepare you for working alongside other professionals and children.
The course comprises four units including Children’s Development, Keeping Children Safe, Play & Learning and Research and Reflective Practice in an Early Childhood Setting

You must have 5 qualifications at level 2 /GCSE at grade 4/pass or above including English or Maths.
It is important to note that there is no requirement for candidates to have studied the qualification at Level 2, before progressing to a Level 3 course.

You will study four units across the two years. Two of the units are internally assessed and worth 50% of the overall grade. Two units are externally assessed and worth 50% of the overall grade.
